Hope you are enjoying those recent releases of ours.

We do wish to draw your attention to the fact that some of our releases that were available at a website called Download Punk are no longer available there. “Why?” you ask? Because the website folded and did not notify their customers, that’s why. “Oh, well then they probably owe their customers some money, right?” you ask? Damn right.

Not that we, your humble servants at factory R, are owed very much money.  Rest assured, dear friends, we are in fact owed very little money. But I have seen nothing about the closure online and figured I’d add something to the World Wide Web pointing out that we know what you did, Download Punk, and God dammit, what you did ain’t punk at all.

On the bright side — the side to which we, your humble servants at factory R, tend to look with perpetuity — this gives us here at the home office the opportunity to seek out another, better, host, and to simplify things a bit by offering downloads and physical sales in one place. That place will be the up-and-coming webspace called Band Camp and we hope to have our wares — physical and digital — placed there for you in the coming months. This website will also be cleaned up and simplified as a result.

So thank you to the very un-punk punks at Download Punk. Your dropping off the face of the Web has indeed been a great, great gift.
