Most days I don’t think much of people who claim that revolutionaries are always co-opted by those in power and presented back to the people as a means of controlling them. Martin Luther King day is one of the few exceptions I make to this. The white washing (pun intended) that has transpired into making him into a official saint of the United States is nothing short of appalling.
I’m glad that there are still groups around who are capable of remembering MLK for the dynamic figure that he was.
